The new furniture collection “System P5” by Studio PART combines creative handcraft with industrial-scale technology. Using metal work at its finest, a single bolt connects the folded sheet metal.

“Död Mark” is a side table made of slag and copper from the Falun copper mine in Sweden. This table is a diagram of a material’s lifecycle, from extraction to residual material. A material that has shaped welfare such as world wars, environment, and geography.

The design is a “low” type chair with three feet. It is beige and red and is Carl Hultin’s very first attempt at painting over metal.

WELCOME BACK analyzes pieces of classic furniture lost in time, and brings them to modernity, seeking to resurrect their glory, in a contemporary, futuristic and personal version. 

The Junius lamp makes a bold statement with its geometric stacked elements that appear almost to float above one another. The lamp is constructed with a lacquered steel shade and body, brass hardware, and a felt base.

Mani ring was inspired by a painting Suna saw at the Prado Museum in Madrid. It was a larger painting but right in the center of the canvas is this detail of the four hands coming together.

A common item in steel houses, the 180º curve is the starting point for the development of the collection. Using this element of industrial origin and organic format, we seek to create affable pieces, which transmit softness incorporated into the rawness of the material.
