Season’s Favourites: 10 Interior Design Pieces In Demand Right Now
When studying tendencies in design, examining the pieces currently in high demand provides valuable insights. While predicting future trends is a common practice, it is the present market dynamics that truly drive these movements. Understanding what is currently popular allows us to grasp the immediate influences and preferences shaping the design world. This approach offers a more comprehensive understanding of the market’s current state and helps anticipate future shifts. Therefore, it is timely and relevant to explore some of the pieces that are currently moving from designers’ workshops to homes and projects across the globe.
At Adorno, all works—whether one-of-a-kind, limited, or open editions—are produced in small batches and made to order if not in stock. This makes it crucial to monitor demand, as lead times and pricing can vary significantly during a surge. Some designers and studios can produce new work quickly, while others, constrained by material sourcing and production capacity, only create batches a few times a year. If you notice low stock on any of these pieces, consider creating an account and using our tools to secure your desired item before someone else does.

Coy Table Lamp
by Stem
(India)
Available in Raw Cast Aluminum and Blackened Aluminium the Coy lamp is a perfect candidate for the current obsession around this metal. The Lamp explores the interplay between organic and geometric forms while delicately balancing light and shadow through subtle depressions, accentuating Coy’s modest character. This distinctive design lends the table lamp with a bold character and depth, transforming it into a sculptural piece for any space. Crafted from Aluminium with its natural finish untouched, each piece showcases a unique texture inherited from the sand casting process. Handcrafted in collaboration with skilled artisans, Coy pays homage to intricate handmade techniques, placing the material at the heart of its design narrative.
Artefacto
by LØRDAG & SØNDAG
(Mexico)
This sculptural wicker lamp, designed by Lørdag & Søndag in Mexico City and hand-woven by master artisan Don Claudio in the Sierra Madre Oriental of Oaxaca, Mexico, showcases traditional woven wicker techniques. The lamp uses G’noo Xombé Nisin fiber, without the need for any interior metal structure, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Mexican Crafts.
Barvinok – Heat-Treated Steel Table
by FURN OBJECT
(Ukraine)
The Barvinok side table is inspired by the periwinkle flower, one of the cultural symbols of Ukraine. The Periwinkle (or “Barvinok” in Ukrainian) represents transformation, joyful vitality, and the enduring essence of existence, and is considered the herald of spring.
Shaped like five petals, the stainless steel table has a blue hue that runs down the base in a gradient created by the heat treatment of the steel. These details reflect the structure and bright celestial color of the periwinkle flower.
As the brand is rooted in Ukraine, the studio wanted to create an object inspired by their culture, subtly translating the combination of gentleness and strength. Often inspired by nature, this time FURN OBJECTS went to explore their roots, deriving inspiration from the cultural heritage of Ukraine. This table, shaped like the “barvinok” flower, tells a story of a well-balanced character, combining strength and determination with serenity and peace.
TRN Lamp
by Pani Jurek
(Poland)
The lighting fixture D1 comes from the TRN collection. These three-dimensional objects inspired by Tarasin paintings have a simple calligraphic form so they can play and talk together as if they were letters from a non-existent alphabet. The hand-crafted process of glazing ceramics gives the collection a truly unique character, hanging with a brass rod in any desirable length.
Stack – Raw Aluminium Shelves
by studio MOTO
(Belgium)
Stack, designed by Ghent architects studio MOTO, is a playful family of stackable furniture, constructed from a limited number of aluminium components that can be used to create cabinets, shelves, totems and coffee tables. Mezquite Table Lamp
by Isabel Moncada
(Mexico)
MEZQUITE table lamp was designed for the De Palo collection by Mexican artist Isabel Moncada. When burnt using the Japanese technique Shou sugi ban, the pine wood grains become apparent and the cracks randomly appear in the solid trunk. Mezquite’s beauty is achieved through its imperfections. It uses a low-watt LED light that lasts up to 18 years and saves 90% of energy consumption. Turned pine wood base with burnt finish and flexible lampshade made with natural linen fabric. The linen shade can be disassembled to be dry-cleaned and steamed to remove wrinkles.
Contemporary Vanity Chair
by Six Dots Design
(UK)
‘Contemporary Vanity’ is the first collection from British designer Joseph Ellwood, under the studio name ‘Six Dots Design’. This five-piece collection made from raw finished, laser-cut Aluminium was launched in the summer of 2022. Since the release of the collection Joseph has been named one of 10 ‘Future Icons’ in design by Wallpaper* magazine, collaborated with the luxury brand Rimowa, making the ‘contemporary suitcase’, and embarked on numerous exciting projects for 2023. The Contemporary Vanity collection asks the question: What should the furniture of the future be? Each piece from the collection is made from raw finished aluminum, a material that can be readily reused and recycled. This recyclability, coupled with new low-carbon cathode technologies, makes aluminum a sustainably plausible material for the future.
Lilith Sculptural Vessel
by Lucia Mondadori
(France)
The Lilith sculptural vessel embodies elements of Soft Minimalism leaning towards Brutalist design which has seen a remarkable surge in 2024. Its organic and generous curves were entirely handcrafted using coiling and sculpting techniques. Hand-built and textured in white stoneware, this Contemporary Ceramic piece beautifully expresses its mineral materiality. To enhance its allure, a black oxide slip was brushed onto the surface, resulting in a deep satin finish. The vitrified interior reveals the white stoneware, providing a refined contrast with the exterior brut surface. This one-of-a-kind creation invites contemplation and reconnection.
