This product belongs to our Collection N°2 – a collection that explores the delicate process of blending in from a social point of view.

In the spirit of reusing and upcycling, this soft and comfortable cushion uses material waste as an aesthetic and functional tool. Made from a transparent knitted tube that is filled with mixed production waste, this cushion becomes a sustainable and playful sitting solution.

Knitted and filled with waste in our studio in Berlin.

During the production in our studio there is less than 1% production waste. This waste, together with residual yarns from prototypes, is used as a filling material in this seat cushion.

BOI is a Berlin-based knit brand & studio founded in 2022 by Goran Sidjimovski. The studio develops its own collection for home textiles and collaborates on special projects with interior and fashion designers. The design and development approach of the studio is driven by a trial and error and hands-on mentality and aims to challenge the perception of knitted textiles. Sustainability plays a key role and is reflected throughout the design and production process.By experimenting directly on the machine with the wide array of knitting techniques and yarns, different textile surfaces and samples come to live. The visual and tactile guide the product concept. The form and graphic as the last step in the process, are usually a reflection of the current mood of the designer.
