    Description

    Forged from the depths of heartbreak this vessel by twig & beetle was hand thrown in a dark stoneware clay in two separate shakes and then conjoined into one unique sculpture. Pre glaze fire the vessel was coated externally in a metal oxide, and internally glazed with a crackling clear, spilling over onto the spikes. The effect is a metallic with moments of blue and gold. Each spike was meticulously placed and aligned strictly with eyesight. Each spike was then refined and bent towards to direction of the sky.
