    Description

    The “Rund” chair is made from alder wood in a flat-pack construction. The chair is built up by straight cylindrical shapes that create a strong silhouette. The comfort is carved out in back and seat, and the edges rounded to create a inviting and friendly chair with a sturdy presence. Carlber Design looks for the tension between abstraction and functionality, and is interested in the separation between the shape of the chair and the functional elements.
