Kugri chairs by B.C. Joshua are made to resemble early forms of seating where materials reflected their immediate surroundings (stone and wood). Kugri is a Ghanaian term from the Nangodi region meaning the earth spriting-stone. They have vine like back rests made from scots pine which protude from the back as if engulfed by the stone like paper.
