    Description

    COMETA pendant light was designed for the Atomic collection by Mexican artist Isabel Moncada.

    The hand-hammered brass disc is the artisanal work that stars in this minimalist piece. In addition to giving character to the design, it has the function of reflecting light. It uses a low-watt LED light that lasts up to 18 years and saves 90% of energy consumption.

    Hand-forged brass with a hammered finish, blown glass globes, and rayon-sheathed cable.

    All of Isabel Moncada’s lighting is UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certified, which ensures a high standard of safety and quality.

    Isabel Moncada is a Mexican designer who specializes in the design of lighting fixtures made in her own workshop in Mexico. For more than 30 years she has explored and implemented ancient techniques of artisan manufacturing, developing different crafts, inventing mechanisms and transforming materials to improve the performance, quality and design of her pieces. She began to venture into the art world in the 1990s. While working for some established sculptors in Guadalajara, she set up her own studio at home and began to approach design with an artistic style that evolved into engineering, mechanics and 3D modeling.
