Research of materials – expanded cork.
The Frimaire Vases are created in collaboration with glass blowers from La Mouillette Atelier, Eve Le Faucheur and Vianney Jolivet.
In the revolutionary calendar, cork was the day of the month of “Frimaire”, equivalent to December 17. As the light of the year fades, the warmth of the ovens and the cork blaze to give birth to a vase-rock as fragile as the mountain is hard. The cork mould is burning, leaving behind the light of these vases.
