    READING BLOCKS by ZEYNEP BOYAN emerged from a simple need: to keep a page open and return to where one’s thoughts left off. These hand-sculpted ceramic blocks are designed for those who appreciate the art of displaying — in a more intentional way.

    Each Reading Block consists of two separate pieces that can be used together to hold a book open or separately as bookends to support a vertical row of books. Both blocks are sculpted by hand using a mix of techniques and are designed hollow to minimize their total weight, making them ideal for collectors and book lovers alike.
